Amazon, Realogy team up to help you buy your next house and get free stuff in the process

The e-tailing giant is joining forces with Realogy Holdings Corp., the largest residential real estate company in the U.S., to create a new program for homebuyers called TurnKey that provides products and services to help with the home search and move into a new house.
The companies say the goal is to help streamline a typically stressful and time-consuming process for homebuyers. That platform also will help to increase sales for both companies.
Through the TurnKey site, Amazon connects homebuyers with a local Realogy-affiliated agent chosen based on their record and market expertise to shepherd their house hunt. Realogy owns such brokerage brands as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Century 21, Coldwell Banker, ERA and Sotheby's International Realty.
After the buyer closes on their new home, Amazon then connects them with services and experts in their neighborhood – such as a handyman, furniture assembly, house cleaner and carpet cleaner.
Realogy also provides the new homeowners with free Amazon smart home products such as an Echo Dot or Spot, Echo Show and Ring Doorbell along with Amazon Home Services, a total value of $1,000 to $5,000, depending on the purchase price of the home.
The larger the purchase price, the more products you get and the bigger credit you receive toward home services.
For instance, the product and service package is valued at $1,000 for a home purchase between $150,000 and $399,000. It goes up to $2,500 for sales of $400,000 to $699,000 and then increases again to $5,000 for home purchases of $700,000 and up, according to the TurnKey website.
There’s no fee to register or other hidden costs, according to the site’s FAQs.
The program is available in 15 U.S. cities: Phoenix; Los Angeles; Sacramento, California; San Francisco; Denver; Tampa, Florida; Orlando, Florida; Atlanta; Chicago; Minneapolis-St. Paul; Charlotte, North Carolina; Dallas; Houston; Seattle; and Washington, D.C.

Homebuyers who use Amazon and Realogy's new TurnKey homebuying program will get a free Echo Show among other complimentary products when they close.
